1978 GMC Jimmy K5 Classic Square Body Blazer 4x4 Lifted. When this truck arrived we were undecided on what effort to put into it but after realizing how perfect it was from the chassis down we had no choice but to put our touches on it. Yes, the body is rusty and the floorplans do have holes, if somebody had a donor body this would be perfect. This would be a fun toy/off-road hunting rig. The stance looks mind blowing for this fully functional four-wheel-drive. This unit has completely replaced brand new front driveshaft all steering components for lift kit, changed dual steering stabilizer, new bolts, new front and rear springs with bushings no blocks at all, fully new exhaust including headers all the way back with Flowmaster, 8 inches of suspension lift, new Warn locking hubs, 16 wide two piece alloy wheels with new 35 inch boggers. Again from the chassis down this truck is ready to rock we’ve looked it over very closely chassis up she is rusty. We even left the air correct old-school diamond plated steps, which could be removed to make it look much taller. The interior is all best we can tell original and very error correct with its plaid seat inserts, five position transfer case, updated radio but still over 30 years old, removal half top, spare tire still in the back bias ply tread. This truck runs down the road excellent shockingly better than you would expect as the rugged Offroad look but with all brand new components underneath. Sold as is due to the rust factor and the need of floor pans to be proper legal for Va and other states, also noted items are the gas gauge does not seem to work, stereo will not turn on and speedometer cable is probably broken. We have serviced the truck change the oil and again all exhaust is brand new functional usability of the truck is as it should be even the 4x4 operates excellent.
